This is a project I worked on while at DelphicSage. I didn’t have a lot to do with the initial design but I was responsible for 100% of the front-end development and production design. I think it’s worth calling out my development on the home page JQuery application.

When you click around the site you quickly see this client wasn’t necessarily stylistically sophisticated, but we gave them a pretty nice site full of text editor styles, templates and other TinyMCE goodies. Check out the bottom of this page. The ‘READ MORE’ blocks are actually editable TinyMCE templates that the client can add anywhere in their content.

Overall, this was a pretty simple site with a solid construction, very few server request and petite style sheet. The client walked away happy. This is one of the first of many projects project that uses Umbraco (an ASP.NET CMS platform).

Visit site: louandtinasbeachhouse.com

I can be honest. I made this site as a christmas gift for my dad, who happens to own a beach house in Puerto Rico. Initially, I didn’t have that much to go on so the content is slim. I tried to use this lack of site material as an asset and featured images as eye candy. Hopefully propelling it past the natural stigma attached to a single-page site.

The full-screen rotating background worked out pretty well thanks to the Supersized plugin. Title’s are using the Google Web Font API and Colorbox Jquery plugin for image gallery.

Since this is a WordPress driven site I though it would be easy to train my dad and his wife on how to update the content. It wasn’t that bad. They took to WordPress pretty quickly. I found that, as long as I constrained their access to nearly everything in the back-end, they wouldn’t be overwhelmed.

So far, the site is doing pretty well for them. Business cards are on the way.

This is a song I was hired to write and record for a beer comercial. From concept to deliverable, this took 13 hours… stared at 7pm and finished at 11:59am the next morning. No sleep.

This started when my good pal, Clint Woodside, texted me at 8pm asking if I was up for a challenge. Long story short, he wanted to know if it was possible for me to gather some musicians, write, record, mix, produce and master a punk cover of Rebel Yell by Billy Idol by the next morning.

I said yes, called people and started recording at 1am. Eleven hours later we sent this version to clint in LA. Zero sleep. Lots of coffee. Good Times.

Show was held at The GreenLine Cafe in west Philadelphia and was curated by the amazing Ketch Wehr.
