Listen here: No Sleep Spot

This is a song I was hired to write and record for a beer comercial. From concept to deliverable, this took 13 hours… stared at 7pm and finished at 11:59am the next morning. No sleep.

This started when my good pal, Clint Woodside, texted me at 8pm asking if I was up for a challenge. Long story short, he wanted to know if it was possible for me to gather some musicians, write, record, mix, produce and master a punk cover of Rebel Yell by Billy Idol by the next morning.

I said yes, called people and started recording at 1am. Eleven hours later we sent this version to clint in LA. Zero sleep. Lots of coffee. Good Times.
